Kenny G and Ubu Web

For anyone who doesn't know about Kenneth Goldsmith, I'd like to induce some of the things he's helped to create. The greatest of which is Ubu Web. Ubu Web is an online free archive of all things art film and avant garde sound. Click here to visit. This is one film I highly recommend watching off the site, Paul Chan's video "Baghdad No Particular Order" 2003, but you can find everything from Gertrude Stien recordings, to Paper Rad's more obscure videos.

Another great achievement in sound was his radio show on WFMU, the Kenny G Show. This will brighten any tedious day in an office or studio. The archive of his "playlists" can be found and streamed here. He's also one of the founders of The UPENN Poetry Department's PennSound website.

An extremely interesting poet, artist, performer, radio DJ, and historian, I encourage everyone to check Ken Goldsmith. He's also continually doing readings and performances in and around NYC.
